The Interior has arrived and it now awaits installation. I'll first get chrome work done so I can install all glass and be able to "close" the interior. Until then it will be in a spare bedroom, safe and sound. I'm very happy with the match to original color and texture of the vinyl, and with the craftsmanship of K&H. I wholly endorse their work.
It has been brought to my attention recently that some of the generator/fan belts I have made are ending up on the engines for cars winning awards when being shown. I've known for some time now that high end restorers are now buying belts from me, as well as individuals who are restoring/maintaining their own cars. While I have never asked customers if they intend to put the belt on an engine or just use the belt in a tool kit, I also knew that some were going on the cars. Bravo! That's a great use of the belts.
Perhaps somewhere around 90% of the USA high end restorers are buying some of these belts, although I have never asked for permission to use their names, so until I cross that bridge, they will remain unnamed. However, I can say I am very proud to know that the list is really quite impressive.
This post is however not about professionally restored cars. It is about a couple of individuals who worked hard on the cars themselves and had professional help where needed to complete difficult tasks outside of their own skill set. This year, at least 2 cars received top honors in their groups where I am aware they had my generator/fan belt on the engine. Congratulations to these two owners!!! I would be very happy to hear from others.

I have received a couple of questions regarding the Fawn vinyl interior. The interior in Miss April was original, but getting quite rough. It simply was not up to even "driver" level in appearance. It had to go.
I contacted 3 major interior restoration shops for vinyl matches to Fawn. After several attempts, I gave up on two of them, and it was K&H who got it right- on the first try!!
To make a fair comparison, you cannot hold new vinyl up to old vinyl that is sun faded. The vinyl I matched was taken from underneath the dash. When the dash is removed, you can see the vinyl that was wrapped underneath. It has not seen sunlight since Germany!
Below is the comparison of a swatch of that vinyl placed on top of the new vinyl going into Miss April. The top piece with the hole in it is original.

Here are some photos of my seats. Everything is still at K&H and just today I sent my dash to them. Great progress though! Porsche called this interior color "Fawn".
Hard to see in the photo of the front seats, but the seat crease is not the deep one done on so many restorations. This is much more shallow. Pin-hole perforation is only on the middle of the seat plus the backside. It is not on the sides/bolsters- same as original.
