Most of the time "original" is a good thing- that is until it wears out. The interior of the bus was dirty when we purchased the bus. Lots of cleaning took place after the initial photos shown below, but a whole new interior is planned.

I removed the door panels and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Panels still need replacing in the future, but they are clean as are the actual doors themselves.
Work has been completed on the dash instruments. I restored and added a correct clock. See the Restoration/Blog pages for that work.
Also repaired the odometer. It had a stripped gear and was not working. I dismantled it and installed a replacement gear. Works like a charm now.
