bumper guards

One of the things to look for in bumper guards is the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) name in the casting.  Photos below show my bumper guards as they came off the car.  Actually, they are not all that terrible, and they are originals as shown by the name Huff in the casting.  They had some pitting, but the worst of it was two holes drilled in one of the rear bumper guards and scraping from steep driveways on all four.
Translation, it would have taken a good amount of file work to get rid of the scraping and a quick weld repair to fill the two holes, and then re-chrome.
Instead, I was able to find some that are in good shape.  Not perfect, but with some effort I got them up to acceptable for now.  No scrapes on the bottom!  They shinned up well too!
Photos below.
Not sure if I will add the chrome muffler pipe extensions again.  Had them on last car, and most guys do, but they were aftermarket, not offered by PORSCHE.  Likely leave them off for now.
