PORSCHE has long had the practice of sending out technical information often called "Bulletins". As far as I know, this practice continues to this day. During the 356 Era, there were lots of bulletins sent out to the dealerships so that they could handle specific problems, upgrades, and were trained in handling service to the customer. The binders for these bulletins is very hard to come by, as dealerships tended to toss out the outdated and no longer needed information. Individual bulletins have survived and collectors sometimes hoard them because of their collectability. Anyway, my find and newest edition to my PORSCHE library is shown below. The binder is in very nice shape, as are the individual tabs. Now the challenge--- fill it up! If you know of anyone who might have a significant collection of Bulletins (Technical Information) please have them contact me. There is a pretty good list of known bulletins shown below (from 356 Registry). ![]()
