My first batch of chrome work is back from the shop. I'm very pleased with the quality of work and in fact the chrome may now be even better than originally produced. The finish is flawless and the small pieces look like jewelry. This first batch was the door/window frames, which ranges from very small buttons to the large frame. It all came out fantastic!
I've already dropped off the next batch, which includes the rear quarter windows and latches. Also in this batch is the dash plaque and rear view mirror stalk. Four weeks for this batch and then I will send the seat hinges and door handles. Chrome for the wheels will be at a different shop, and may not happen this year. Headlight chrome rings were completed months ago and the hood handle is NOS, so those were already in the completed column. Hard to take good photos of chrome, can't be in too much artificial light or sunlight because it's just too bright. Hope these photos look representative of the excellent job done.
