So many documents to get right when it comes to these great cars. I decided to go through my radio documents to make sure all was ok.
Original documents that came with Blaupunkt radios were all neatly stored in a yellow pocket. Later, in the 911 era, the pocket changed to clear. Blaupunkt radios were given serial numbers at the factory that started with a alpha character followed by sequential numbers. The radios that were fitted in the 356 C cars started with the letter "V". Note that the serial number is shown below on the guarantee card, AND that the supporting documents (such as the schematic) reference the applicable serial number range. Everything needs to match up! I have some extra documents for a Blaupunkt Koln radio that I do not need. I am offering these documents in the Classifieds Section. The Koln radio was the top of the line and had a signal search function. Be sure to click on "Previous" at the page bottom to see lots of previous Blog pages!

Those belts, the webbing and the alloy hooks, are just like the factory installed originals in my 67 911S.
