My upholstery arrived back from the shop in December of 2019! No, that is not a mistake, it has been sitting in a spare bedroom for over a year. Ouch! Anyway, with the weather outside of 40 with rain, low temps clocking in at 34 degrees, and the garage unheated, it was time for in indoor project.
Time to assemble the beautiful work on the seats and the very nice newly chromed hinges! Project was only about 1 hour per seat, and I'm really pleased with the results. All complete now except I forgot to order the little rubber bump stops that go between the chrome hinge and seat frame. Those are very easy to install later. Now I can't wait to be seated in the car, put my hands on the newly refinished original VDM wood steering wheel, and take a drive!
